lorsque l'on doit arrondir un nombre au dixième, on doit obtenir un nombre avec plus qu'un chiffre derrière la virgule. si le chiffre des centièmes est 0, 1, 2, 3 ou 4, on ne change pas le chiffre des dixièmes et on supprime les autres (centième, millième). par contre si le chiffre des centièmes est 5, 6, 7, 8, ou 9, on ajoute 1 au chiffre des dixièmes. exemple : 85,472 doit être arrondi au dixième près. le chiffre des centièmes est 7, donc on ajoute 1 au chiffre des dixièmes. on obtient 85,5.
